PAR OHIO

The mission of PAR is to offer quality training, professional development and networking opportunities to enhance services to individuals with developmental disabilities.

To carry out this mission, we rely on the support and volunteer efforts of many dedicated individuals, working together to continually improve the manner in which mentally challenged individuals are provided with personal care and assistance. Our human resources include professionals from various fields of MRDD, who share their knowledge and expertise with one another to achieve their common goal. This is accomplished through our annual PAR Conventions, where those same professionals gather together each year to share their talents, skills, knowledge, and visions.

However, many parents and professionals continue to struggle to identify and implement effective strategies to address the areas of concern or to teach new skills. This workshop will present a framework that assists in the selection and organization of interventions to create an individualized and comprehensive plan to support an individual.
