CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations received before September 14, 2008, will be refunded in full. Cancellations received after September 14, and prior to September 24, 2008, will be refunded less a 25% administrative charge. Cancellations made after September 24, 2008, are non-refundable. Requests for refunds must be made in writing and will be paid after the convention. You may send another person in your place at any time.

GROUP REGISTRATIONS - Agencies sending five or more staff members are eligible for group discounts if Purchase Orders list the full name of each convention registrant and a completed registration form is submitted for each convention registrant.  Agencies can receive the following discounts on paid group registrations:

  • 5-9 Convention registrations: 5%

  • 10-14 Convention registrations: 10%

  • 15-19 Convention registrations: 15%

  • 20+ Convention registrations: 20%

Discounts apply only to convention registrations (not membership) and require completion of the Group Registration Form by September 19, 2008.  If the agency requires participants to pay any of the fees, we request these be deposited to the agency's account and a Purchase Order for the entire cost be authorized.  Download Group Registration Form.

  • Memberships are for individuals; there are no organizational memberships.
  • Professional Member ~ Degreed Professionals employed or serving in an official capacity in private or public programs for individuals with developmental disabilities. Persons who are required to have either an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in their current position. Professional Membership would include but is not limited to: Therapists (OT, PT, Speech), SSAs, Supervisors, Habilitation Managers, Program Managers, House Managers, QMRP, Investigators, Business Managers, Executive Directors, and Superintendents.
  • Direct Support Professional ~ Individuals employed in the field of developmental disabilities and their current position does not require a degree. Direct Support Professional membership would include, but is not limited to: ODMRDD Registered Positions, Level One or Individual Options Waiver Direct Support Providers, Workshop Specialists, Habilitation Specialists, Direct Care Providers.
  • Student/Family ~ Full or part-time student, or family member who is not employed full-time in the field of developmental disabilities.
  • PAR Membership is non refundable & non transferable.
